Daisy and Tyson

Daisy weighed 5.94kg on her first visit to slimming club in November 2009. A target weight of 4.4kg was set and she was put on a combination of Royal Canin wet and dry obesity diet.  It is important not to loose too much weight too quickly and we look for a loss of between 1 - 3% of the original body weight at each visit.

In April 2010 Daisy reached her target weight of 4.4kg and went on to a maintenance diet of Royal Canin neutered cat food. She continued to come in for fortnightly weigh ins as her food ration was increased gradually to prevent her loosing more weight and we needed to make sure she didn't put too much weight back on. 

She is currently slightly under her target weight at 4.26kg and has lost a total of 28.28% of her original body weight.

Tyson

Tyson  weighed 30.2kg on his first visit to slimming club in June 2009.  A target weight of 22kg was agreed. He was put on Royal Canin obesity diet and came for a fortnightly weigh in.

A year later and he weighed 22kg having lost 8.2kg which is  27.15% of his original body weight.  Whilst on the maintenance stage of his diet, he came back for regular weigh ins and 18 months from starting his diet, he is still at his target weight of 22kg.
