Frog is a two and a half year old
Water Draggon who was diagnosed with osteomyelitis (infection of the bone).
The infection was spreading up his tail and to prevent it spreading any further
up his body, the Vet amputated his tail.
Frog was placed in our intensive care incubator
to recover from his anaesthetic. Post operative care
included bathing his wound in povodine iodine to prevent
infection and giving him antibiotic injections.
