Harriet was brought in to the
surgery by a couple who found her with her leg caught in pond netting. She
had dislocated her left
hip and under a general anaesthetic this was put back in place (reduced).
Unfortunately, the hip joint didn't remain in place and we had to
amputate her leg. She made a quick recovery and was soon up and about
eating and drinking as normal.
Harriet is managing to get around on three legs really well. If
you didn't know about her operation, you wouldn't know she had a
leg missing at all!
