Snake, a three year old
cornsnake, was brought into the surgery egg-bound. She had managed to lay 8 eggs
naturally but was unable to pass the last one.

Veterinary surgeon, Karen Grabham, deflated the egg by inserting
a sterile needle into it and sucking the contents up into a
syringe. This enabled her to then gently withdraw the egg
via the vent using forceps.

The egg successfully removed from Snake.
