Pet Heroes 2007

Each month we vote for one of our patients who has shown courage and patience when faced with difficult, painful or long term treatment.  During 2007 we had nine 'hero's' and an overall winner was voted by our clients and readers of the Melksham News.

Tye was the posthumous winner who sadly died of bone cancer in May 2007

                              

Our other Heroes included:

       Ozzie swallowed a stone           Feeling much better after it was removed

 

Ellie has an unusual liver condition which is currently under control with medication

Marmalade had hepatitis but is now fine

 

Max and Jasmine in the garden.  Max had cancer of the bone and had his hind leg amputated.

Spud's leg simply would not heal and sadly he has since had it amputated
