Rosie (on the right) was lame on her front right foot
and radiographs were taken.

It is very important for rabbits,
guinea pigs, ferrets etc. to come in to the ward with their
'house mate(s)'. The company is comforting and reduces the
risk of rejection when they return home smelling of the vets!

The radiograph shows a fractured toe - the last
toe on the right. Owing to underlying damage it was necessary to
amputate the toe.

The swelling can clearly be seen once the foot has been prepped
for surgery
The toe has been amputated and the sutures will need to be
removed in 7 - 10days
