Rupert fell while on a walk and seriously fractured his left elbow.  On arrival at the practice, he was given pain relief, radiographs were taken to assess the type of fracture and his leg was then bandaged to help reduce the pain and to prevent him moving it and inadvertently making the injury worse. 

He was referred to Langford University where he underwent surgical repair which took approximately five hours.

Rupert can be seen below post surgery and doing really well.  He is having hydrotherapy to help build up muscle tone and encourage natural movement.
